During testing on a loop consisting of mixed driving on the freeway at high rpm and high speeds to generate as much heat as possible and in stop and go traffic on surface streets, the M7 Exhaust Heat Shield reduced under hood temperatures an average of 68 degrees F.

The coolant reservoir and the steering pump reservoir stay much cooler, reducing the potential of failure of these components.

Manufactured from aerospace grade insulating materials, the top layer is bright reflective silver thermal fabric with a handsome 3 inch embroidered M7 logo and the bottom is made of a woven nomex fabric.

The main insulating core is made from high performance composite nano-fiber ceramic pad material.
