The SDHQ Built skid plate system for the 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 not only adds protection to the undercarriage but improves the appearance of the front of the Chevy 1500. This SDHQ Built skid plate also adds 10 degrees of approach angle! We designed this piece to maintain the OEM tow hooks on the front of the vehicle.

This skid plate includes not only includes a skid plate to replace the wimpy, stock valence but also a heavy-duty engine skid plate which we added to further protect vital pieces like the oil pan, front differential and steering rack.
